The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree or minor in 跨文化研究 is ideal for students who long to expand their view of the world through the study of other 文化s.
Students at Olivet analyze and research 文化s and countries, looking at them throughout history and consider how they have evolved and to exist today. The primary focus is on how different 文化s bond and interact with each other. Students also examine the impact of race, 文化, language and other factors on interactions among people and nations, as well as analyze the differences in and barriers to communication. The realities of discrimination, 偏见, racism and conflict negotiations are central to this study.
A cross-cultural ministry field experience is a degree requirement. This gives students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to missional organizations in the community.
